This is definitely a dream-come-true machine that every housewife would love to have in their own house. This is the Roomba i-Robot vacuum cleaner which actually cleans the floors for you automatically. In other words, it is like having a robot in your own house doing all the vacuuming for you. Cool, eh? Definitely!!
My dad has been looking up this product and found out that it actually costs RM2100.00 for one unit. Wow!! That's a pretty high price to pay. So, in his search for a similiar machine, he happened to stumble upon a "clone" of the Roomba i-Robot. It was named the Oku San No robotic vacuum which onlyy costs RM 880. Pretty cool price, huh? So immediately, he purchased it and, hey presto, we have a cool robotic vacuum at home.
Gone are the days of vacuuming and hello Mr. Robot!!

Hello, I stumbled upon this entry while googling the Oku San No robotic vacuum cleaner, which I saw at Home Depot, One Utama.
Would be much obliged if you could provide a basic review of this product. How efficient is it? Does it take a long time to clean a single room, going over the same spots over and over? Does it get caught in things, or break down often? What is its energy consumption like? Would you recommend this product, or do you think it would be easier and faster to just sweep, mop or use a conventional vacuum cleaner?
I would like to find out more before I buy one too. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Don't buy Oku san no, i am a victim of this china make robotic vacumm cleaner. i post a comment on http://superbuymy.blogspot.com/2009/04/hot-selling-robot-floor-cleaner-oku-san.html apperently they rejected my comment. it only runs for 5 mins and then need recharge again. i have send it for more then 4 times of repair but it never 'repair', its either the same or not moving at all. i ask for a replacement but they say they don't have this policy ! and their after sales service was so bad as well ! so DON'T BUY !

Bloody hell, OKU SAN NO company close shop dy? i bought 2 units of robotic vacuum cleaner at Penang Tesco last year and break down twice in a year! all due to battery issue. Today i went to the office (MYTEQ) and the office lady told me that OKU SAN NO already close shop and they can do any repair for the system! Anyone know where can i get help? Thanks for advice.
