Reasons For Not Blogging

It has been really long since I last blogged. Well, there are many reasons why I did not choose to blog. Laziness of course, is one of the key factors that made me not want to blog. Apart from that, I feel that I do not have much time on my hands to balance between blogging and studies. So I decided to hang up on blogging for awhile.

Well, I will be back after November 27 as I will be SUPER free by then and I hope I won't be too lazy to update my blog.....hopefully.....

So long....ciaoz....

My Silly Best Friend

Everyone has got a best friend and for me, my best fella since primary school is Mr. Bernard Ho Chon Han. Haha.....yea man, we both "Gempar" MBS.....hahaha.....

I remember that we both were in the same class in standard 3 and at that time, I was the "naughtiest" boy in the block. However, very soon I got to know Bernard and found out that he was a "saint" *coughs* (kononnya). However, in standard 3, it was me who got the Tokoh Kanak-Kanak Harapan, not him.....hahahaha..... In standard 4 it was a different story though as both of us became prefects and were equally as naughty. But I definitely ousted him and became the assistant head prefect in Standard 6, while he was just the "Pengerusi Majlis".

Entered Form 1, also in MBSSKL and also in the same class, just for your info, we were in the same class right up till Form 3 and both of us were prefects right up till Form 5. A very wacky person, he became super smart as well in Form 1 and was always beating me in results. however, he was still a true friend and I owe my PMR mathematics results to him for helping me out during the last two months. I'm glad that both of us managed to achieve great results for PMR.

Bernard, me and Isaac

In Form 4, we were separated, Bernard in 4C and me, in 4K. WE could not crap around anymore in class and I had to find a new studying partner. However, our friendship still remained. He became my vice-president while I was the President of Christian Fellowship and we both were Headcomms in the Prefectorial Board, he the head for Printing Comm and me, Filing comm. He was a silly headcomm, while I was a lazy one.....hehe The great Storyteller

In form 5, he really helped me out when we both handled CF together. He really was a great help to me and proved himself as a great Vice-president *thumbs-up, dude* He is also a great comforter especially when I failed my Add Maths...haha....However, I got the BEST HEADCOMM award but he did not (no worries, Bernard, I'm somehow better :D) But he is damned good in his studies now...I ain't got no hope of beating him anymore *sobs* However, smart as he is, he is never one who brags or acts smart. He is still the same old wacky guy who still lets me slap him around. Really love those silly moments with Bernard....haha.....

Silly moments
So, he got chosen for NS and I did not....all the best, dude, in your SPM and in your future....continue being wacky......haha...

Back to Blogger *apologies* :D

After thinking over, I have decided to stay at Blogger for GOOD, and I mean it this time. Wordpress is jst sooooo complicated and so not user-friendly at all. I have spent almost about a month trying to figure out how to use it and make my blog more interesting, but I just can't seem to understand the whole system. So, I have totally given up trying to use Wordpress.

So, I'm back to Blogger and appreciating the good-old-days of EASY and CONVENIENT blogging :D

After reading recent news about journalists and reporters and bloggers being placed under ISA arrests, I am quite careful with what I blog about. It is frightening to have a group of policemen one day, waiting outside my house and dragging me to prison. So I will not blog about political situations as it is very sensitive at this moment :D

So long.....bye bye....

~Matthew~

The BIG Day....

I'm not alright......Yup, totally not in the mood today. I don't know why but I guess I am just not inthe right frame of mind to do anything AT ALL. Yup, AT ALL!!!! Arrrrrggggghhhh........exam's round the corner and I've got no time to waste at all. I guess I'll just crash some things up and maybe I'll feel better. I hope so... :P
Why do vets have no compassion at all?????? My dog is lying in the veterinarian clinic and I am not allowed to visit MY OWN DOG??? helllooooooo, it's my dog you are talking about and don't I have the right to visit it, especially after not seeing my dog for almost a WEEK??? Where's your brains, Mr. VET??????

AGM = RETIRED :D

Last Thursday, The Prefectorial Board of MBSSKL had the most historic period of their life when they had their AGM. LOL......What's SOOO historic?????

OKOK....we had our AGM and it was a jaw-breaking time of 6 hours, non-stop. WOW!!! THAT's LIKE SOOOOO CRAZY right???? But it was indeed quite fun and we seriously enjoyed ourselves as it was the FINAL meeting of ther year for the Form 5s and Upper 6s. It was historic for us also because, we were going to have a serious load of fun "interrogating" the Form 4s who were the nominees for the PROTEMS, the future leaders of the school and the entire board for next year.

So we were waiting anxiusly for that golden moment to arrive. Tick-tock-tick-tock and FINALLY, the moment arrived. All the Form 5s and Upper 6s loaded their Criticism Guns and got ready their "grenades" all to blow up the Form 4s. WOW....so GANAS!!!! Well, they had it blown right into their face and me???? I was just a bored spectator, watching and listening to their war of words while counting the time and the hours left before I can finally go home.... tick-tock-tick-tock.........SWEAT!!!!!!

Well, AT LAST the entire period of shooting was over and by the time it was over, it was already 7.00 pm. Well, the votes were cast and the PROTEMS were determined. It was..........................

1)Lim Kar Wee

2)Teong Kim Yeong

3)Benny Tham Chew Hol

Well, congratulations to all the PROTEMS and the board of 2008/2009. Up next was the EXCO's speech and the "OSCAR", yup "OSCAR" awards for the best male and female prefect, best committee, best headcomm and best improved prefect. The following are the results.....

1) Best male prefect : Daniel Wong

2) Best female prefect : Chua Pei Yong

3) Best Committee : Fines Comm.....argggghhh....they held it for so many years!!!! Not fair!!!!

4) Best headcomm. : Wong Mun Fei and......................MATTHEW SAMUEL CHO!!!! WOOOOOOHHOOOOOOOO..........

5) Best improved Prefect : Kim Mun Fu

Well, I was shocked when I heard my name being announce as best headcomm. Well, I definitely have to thank my members and Mr. Anthony Khoo for their help and constant support. Therefore, I'm tired of writing this post right now and there are some pics of the last day of our duty and of our AGM.....just click http://cheithai.blogspot.com/ and you will be redirected to Chei Thai's blog where all the pics are stored. You will also find the pics of the Retirement Day party over there......so.....

ALL THE BEST PREFECTS OF 08/09!!!!

~Matthew~

Follow up....CHEER 2008....

Ok, I did not go for Cheer 2008, but I have watched it countless nuber of times when my sister was one of those screaming, mini-skirted girls doing sommersaults and flying in the air like nobody's business. Ok, Malaysia has been more open-minded lately because last time, IF there ever was a cheer programme, all the girls would have to wear BAJU KURUNG, not MINISKIRTS and TIGHT, FITTING shirts or bluses or whatever you call it.

Well, watching from YouTube and flicking through my sister's photos which she took at these year's event, I guess those girls must really be superwomen or whatnot. To be brave enough to let your friend fling you thousand feets into the air and to trust that they will catch you is UNTHINKABLE.....for me.... :D

What a huge crowd watching all these girls fly. I wonder if the crowd would be this huge if they were all guys...............................

"Skirtlift" or "Shirtlift".....if I was the base, I would have let go the person standing on top of me.....hahahahahahahaha......

I wonder if these girls are made up of steel or what because when my friend tried to imitate their actions, he went "AWWWWWWW, IT HURTS, MAN!!!!".....this is him, the cheerleader wannabe.......

Stupid fella, thinking he could bend over like those cheerleaders.........well, serve him right!!! haha......

The Hell of Driving.......

Is our Malaysian roads HELL or HEAVEN????? In my personal opinion, it is HELL.....totally!!!! I have actually know that Malaysian drivers are bad but not to this extent. Well, here's my story......

I was learning driving yesterday afternoon and I was driving my instructor's car back to my house and things were going fine. The trouble did not start till I reached the huge curved highway near Leisure Mall when this Indon on a motorcycle was riding slowly in front of me. Being a learner, I slowed down my car and trailed him. However, when he moved aside to let me pass, he did not move far enough towards the side and he nearly collided with my car. He went like......

Indon- *wave fist* HOI!!!!!

Me - *lifts my hands as a sign of apology* sorry bang.... (the windows were opened so I guess he heard)

Indon - *shakes his head*

Well, maybe that was my fault so I just continued driving. The Hellish moments started when I reached the three junctions near Leisure Mall. First junction, aother motorcycist who seemingly hated his life (I guess) just sped out of the junction without stopping making me jam on my brakes and guess what, I forgot to step on my clutch and my engine died. OMG, right there in the middle of the road. Worse of all, my insturctor was shouting at me....

Instructor- On your engine!!!! Quickly.....
Me - *in a blur state* Where????

Instructor - WHAT?????? You don't know where is the ignition?????

Me - Ohh......ok ok.....*sweating profusely*

Instructor- You sure fail loh......engine also duno how to start....

Me - *laughs nervously*

Instructor - Still laugh???? DRIVE!!!! people behind horn already ar!!!!!!

Me- Oh yaloh.....haha.....sorry....

Instructor- Don't sorry here sorry there, DRIVE!!!! Shift to first gear and step clutch, release accelerator first....Faster!!!

Me- Ok ok.....on my way....

Well, during those brief moments of panic, my brain sort of freezed. However, one thing that made me sooooo nervous was the fact that the cars behind me were honking me like nobody's business!!!! COME ON!!!! I'm a baby on the road and can you all see the big, bold "L" on the front and back of the car which means "LEARNER"??? So what's the nice thing about honking a LEARNER???? eventhough his engine dies down in the middle of the road. It is not like I did it on purpose, but it is because it was my first time sitting behind the wheels.

Maybe I should start educating Malaysian drivers in my blog on how to see whether the car in front of them is an "L" car or not.....

<-------- THIS IS THE SIGN THAT YOU SHOULD'NT HORN!!

Feeling So Fly!!!!!

I am feeling SOOOOOO fly. Seriously, things have been going really great for me today and I feel really great, so in the mood to do things like.....blogging..... :D I wish everyday would be like that for me......

No Pics >.<

SORRY but I still haven't got the time to upload the pics of our Prefects' retirement day...so just be patient......

Hamilton VS Kimi

V.S.

Ok, So the Formula 1 season has kickstarted and it has been quite many a race since it first started this year. Well, no doubt that I am really a fan of Lewis Hamilton of McLaren. However, my girlfriend is a huge, really HUGE fan of Kimi Raikkonen of Ferrari. Well, I'm not against him either except that he really needs improvement. LOTS!!!!

Well, judging from the looks ofthe current standings, It seems that Hamilton is having the upper hand while Kimi is desperately trying to oust his rival. Take a look in the recent GP in Hockenheim. Kimi was a little to aggresive behind the wheel that he only managed to take sixth place while Hamilton powered his way to finish of first. McLaren definitely has built a strong car and so has Ferrari. But its drivers play and important role in determining the outcome of the race.

I'm sure that Kimi has an even chance of vying for that world championship again like he did last year if he has better race startegy and less of those agresiveness on the track. Well, if Kimi does not make the best of whatever races he has left, I think it will be goodbye to his world champinoship just as what happened to Fernando Alonso. :D

P.S. sorry Evelyn if you are reading this post, I'll never talk about Kimi like that ever again......

Retirement Day.....

I'm kinda late for this post as I have been quite lazy at updating my blog :P Well, I'm gonna blog about our prefects' retirement party which was held last Friday on the 18th of July in the evening. Well, the whole event was supposed to start at 4pm so after school, I went over to Bernard's house and showered changed and played some computer games over there.

At about 4pm, Bernard and I decided to leave. I did not follow him and the other guys as I had promised to pick up Evelyn after her tuition which ends at 5.30pm. So we parted ways at the LRT station. Whilst waiting for Evelyn's tuition to be over, I went over to Starbucks, had a nice cup of coffee and settled down with a novel. Well, what a nice way to relax after a hard, really hard day at school. It was truly the moment that I needed. At 5.15pm, I received an sms from Evelyn telling me that she has finished. So I quickly drunk up my coffee and went out to wait for her.

We went together to the LRT and by the time we reached there, it was already 6.15pm. The whole bunch of whacky prefects were already ther and evidently, a few of them were already wet *dunked*. Well, when I was just about to put a fishball into my mouth, out of nowhere, 3 guy just grabbed me from behind, while two more took out my wallet and my watch and the next thing i knew *whooosh* I was underwater. The water was really cold and I was shivering after coming out.

Well, in the end, no one escaped dry. Everyone was wet. We had a really nice time playing in the pool. However, after awhle, me and Evelyn decided to grab some food while everyone else was still playing. So we helped ourselves to plenty of barbequed meat and sausages.

By night time, everyone was out of the pool and the fun time of snapping pics began. Silly poses here and there and flashlights from the tons of cameras are really the trademark of the Prefectorial Board of MBSSKL. We always have a cameraman with us everywhere and in everything we do :D Well, I will put up the photos real soon when I get them. So long for this post, CIAOZ!!!!

GOOD LUCK IN YOUR EXAMS, LOWER 6es!!!!

~Matthew~

DUH.............................

I'm really not built for bloging I guess or I am too busy???????? I guess I'm starting to get lazy in updating my blog, so much so that most people have stopped viewing my blog. Well, I don't blame you guys cause' Mr. Matthew is so so lazy :D. Well, I haven't been updating my blog because I have very limited time to spend on the computer because when I'm at the computer, I have to be doing other stuffs especially with the school magazine just round the corner and SPM too.

Well, here's a little update......firstly, I have been very, very busy and just not in the mood to blog because my workload is freaking me out. Tons and tons of studies and revisions to do. Therefore, I had to cut off blogging time and spend very limited time chatting on MSN, Friendster-ing and many more. Don't worry, because once my SPM is over, I will be back to normal, which is.....blogging when I can....haha.....Well, when SPM is over, I'm sure that my blog will not be so empty as it is currently.

Well, went for a little swimming workout with my elder sister last 2 weeks ago and guess what, I banged my head on the pool wall. Well, I was not really sure where the other end of the pool was as I had no goggles and the next thing I knew, WHAM!!! And my head banged against the wall. Well, I'm not sure if being underwater magnifies the pain or what, but it REALLY hurt badly. Thank God, that it went away as quickly as it came and I vowed never to swim with my eyes closed.

Glad to know that we prefects have only one more month before we senior prefects retire to give way to the juniors to take over. Well, that means more time to study and more time to.....yup.....STUDY!!!! :D

So long for this post.....I guess it's sufficient for now....till the next post, Ciaoz!!!!

OOOOO-LA-LA........

That is a real dream come true for me......a Ducatti 999s, 1000cc series......

I am indeed really into this superbike craze just like my dad is. My da is an avid fan of superbikes and he does own one, a Yamaha 1000 cc superbike, and my word, isn't it cool!!!! Well, my dad has promised to let me get my 1000 cc bike license after my SPM. However, my mum is not as enthusiastic as my dad and I are.

She keeps grumbling and grumbling and grumbling, complaining about how noisy those bikes are and how DANGEROUS those bikes are. Well, it is danerous if you go speeding round town like a racer. My dad has riden for 30 years and has only met with accident....erm.....once... :D Well, I am sure God will protect me on that bike and I can't wait for my license to be in my hands. Of course, I will do my utter nest to be a responsible road user with that huge machine. So long, till I get that bike, I'll tell you guys all about it. As for now, I will focus on my SPM and dream at night about 2 things, my DARLING and my DUCATTI 999s :D

Marvellous Creations....

Check this gadgets out.....cool, sophisticated, high-tech, advanced stuffs that the human race has finally managed to create to help MOTHERS, yup, MOTHERS, with the tedious job of vacuuming.

This is definitely a dream-come-true machine that every housewife would love to have in their own house. This is the Roomba i-Robot vacuum cleaner which actually cleans the floors for you automatically. In other words, it is like having a robot in your own house doing all the vacuuming for you. Cool, eh? Definitely!!

My dad has been looking up this product and found out that it actually costs RM2100.00 for one unit. Wow!! That's a pretty high price to pay. So, in his search for a similiar machine, he happened to stumble upon a "clone" of the Roomba i-Robot. It was named the Oku San No robotic vacuum which onlyy costs RM 880. Pretty cool price, huh? So immediately, he purchased it and, hey presto, we have a cool robotic vacuum at home.

Gone are the days of vacuuming and hello Mr. Robot!!

~matthew~

PHEWWWWW......

Yup....phewww.....relieved.....why?? Well, first of all, the holidays have arrived. Secondly, Teachers' Day is over. Well, if you ask me, I'm definitely needing these holidays to really take a break and catch up with whatever bits and pieces of studies that I have really left out. However, aftergoing through my whole holiday schedule, I have found out that I have actually very few days of holidays!!! NOOOOOOO.......here's the equation I have managed to come out with....

1) 2(7)=14 days of holidays

2) 14 days / 2 = 7 days each week

3) 1st week = 7-3 = 4 days

4) 2nd week = 7-3 = 4 days

5) total days of rest = 4 + 4 = 8 DAYS ONLY!!!!!

UNFAIR......when other students have got 14 days of holiday, 5K and 5C students only have 8 days. Well, that's a ratio of...let me guess.... 14:8 = 7:4 ....yup, I'm right, that's the correct ratio.

I'm going to say this with a huge SIGH that I am going to have lesser holidays. Well, anyway, that's the way life is. Nothing comes on a silver spoon. Alright, that's it, I'm going off now. Ciaoz!!!

~matthew~

Just 3 More Days.......

Finally after 2 weeks of examinations, they are going to be over....just for now. Well, at least I can rest awhile. However rest has got to be the last thing on my mind because SPM's just round the corner!!!!! OMG....i have exactly 182 more days....can someone slow down the clock?????? Well, I guess it is useless to just sit down and start panicking but I think it is better if I start doing something to help me get that.....*ahem*....I better not count my chicks before they hatch. Well, so long for this post....to all SPM students

ALL DA BEST!!!!

~matthew~

EXAMS, EXAMS, EXAMS.....

It seems like yesterday when I just finished my first examinations and now, another round f examinations is coming up, just round the corner. It really freaks me out for good. Ok, so that is why I haven't been blogging lately. So I guess I have to pen off now as I am going to STUDY, STUDY and STUDY...ciaoz....

~Matthew~

Striving For Excellence....

Yup...as what the title reads, that's what I'm actually doing right now. I am striving for excellence in evry area of my life. A VERY HUGE dream. Ok, I sucked out during the first test (not that bad actually) but it was indeed quite shocking for me. Seeing that the mid-year exam is just round the corner, I have to really push myself to start studying. Ok, so I have got my entire result sheet pasted in my room just to remind me of my target and to get me hyped up for this coming exam. Hopefully, with God's help, I will be able to ace this test with good results.

Alright so that's for the academic section, but awhat about the others???? Well, I am actually aiming to produce another quality magazine this year for the school again. Although there won't be another competition like last year, but, I won't be doing the school any good by producing a lousy magazine right??? Therefore, I am definitely praying that all my members really stick together and work as a team :D.

Alright so much for all these craps...haha...I guess I better start doing whatever I have set my mind to do right now because blogging is definitely not one of them. Ciaoz.....

~Matthew~

Continuation....CBD pics.....

Grabbed a few more pics....enjoy them....

CBD Pics....

An innocent pic of Evelyn taken by Janice....

The photos were taken by Janice and I just did the nice and easy job of copying them.....

Malaysian Drivers.....

I totally hate the stupid way Malaysians drive on the road. It is as if they own the entire road to themselves. Well, I had a close have today morning when I was cycling around my housing garden. Well, this silly guy who had a super loud exhaust pipe came roaring out from nowhere and was speeding down the road at breakneck speed. My gosh, the worst thing was, he was talking on the handphone!!! What irresponsible drivers we have. What if a kid happended to be playing on the road, he or she would definitely have been flown to kingdom come. Horible, horrible, horrible...I wonder why can't they drive slowly around housing gardens. This just reflects the terrible careless attitude these people have.

Combined Boards' Day

1 Team, 1 Spirit, Want Success....that was the theme of MBSSKL's 18th Combined Boards' Day event. Well, amazing that all the boards in MBSSKL could work together harmoniously to make this event a success. It was indeed a smashing success and I am sure that everyone totally enjoyed it. Well, the event was quite fun accept for 2 performances which really gave me NIGHTMARES.....scared the wits out of me!!! I totally hated that 2 performances. However, the rest of it was actually fun and interesting. The entire event ended somewhere close to 7pm and we all went home around 7.30pm as we had to clean up the hall and also take some pics :D

Well, conclusion??? I totally enjoyed this year's CBD event as it is my last year attending this function and definitely these are moments that I truly cherish....so long...ciaoz...

~Matthew~

What's Been Going On....

Ok....I've been downright busy and I have not updated my Xanga blog cause I could not sign into it(damned Xanga blog). Well, anyway, I am trying my utter best to keep up with the craziness all around me. It's like just 3 more weeks before my mid-term examinations and yet I am still so busy with other stuffs. So far I've only touched a few subjects and I am so Damned scared of the coming exams. So school life is pretty interesting nowadays with the tons of activities going on and I am trying to make the best out of my final year in school.

I had the great news that our school mag actually won 1st place in the school magazine competition last year and we received RM5000 as a reward....HUGE sum...well, that shows that MBSSKL Editorial Board really has quality...KEEP IT UP, GUYS!!! Well, I am glad that there is no such competition coming next year so I don't have to be so pressured but still producing a high-quality magazine is my goal.

Well, that's all for now. I guess I'll just stop here. Ciaoz....

~Mathew~

Hey There!!!!

Alright I know I've lots and lots of blogs. But I can't help it cause my Xanga blog has got numerous problems and I can't login. Therefore, I decided to use my Blogger account which has been dead for almost a year :D I hope I can continue from where I left off the last time I updated my Xanga Blog(crossing my fingers). Well, keep in tune to my blog, IN CASE (note the block lettering) I update it :D Cheers....
